This new episode of the series "Mécanique du crime" revisits the case of Léopold Storme, accused of murdering his parents and sister on June 17, 2007, in the heart of the Marolles district in Brussels. He was 19 years old at the time. It is one of the major criminal cases that captivated the entire nation of Belgium.

On October 20, 2007, Sadia Sheikh, a 20-year-old student, was shot dead by her older brother Mudusar, who immediately fled. Although the investigation initially considered it an isolated act, a mosaic of elements revealed the specter of an honor killing—a family conspiracy.

The Marc and Corine case, named after the young couple brutally murdered in 1992, became the starting point for the victims’ families’ fight against a judicial system that neglects them. They founded a non-profit organization to help in the search for missing children.
